Healthcare

With skyrocketing premiums and more people being denied coverage, healthcare has become an issue that we cannot ignore.

In Tennessee, I sponsored and successfully passed legislation to expand healthcare access.  In the first year, we helped provide more than 50,000 Tennesseans with healthcare.  In that same time, we included 15,000 children to the number of insured Tennesseans.

Moving forward, we can work towards even more accessible healthcare that builds upon a system of newer technologies for both urban and rural areas, and we can focus on preventive medicine.
